- The wallet website connects to GetTrumpMemes.com, creators of unendorsed $TRUMP and $MELANIA tokens. Magic Eden’s CEO confirmed their participation in development.
- This shows how third parties repeatedly use the Trump name without consent for crypto initiatives, creating confusion about legitimacy.
Magic Eden announced a new cryptocurrency wallet linked to the $TRUMP meme token on June 4. The wallet, named “$TRUMP Wallet” claims to store and trade digital assets.
Our partnership with the $TRUMP team to build @TrumpWalletApp represents our commitment to onboarding mainstream audience deeper into crypto.

However, the Trump Organization immediately rejected any connection to the project. A spokesperson stated, “The Trump Organization knows nothing about this wallet” confirming the denial.

The Trump Organization has zero involvement with this wallet product. @EricTrump and I know nothing about it. Stay tuned—World Liberty Financial @worldlibertyfi, which we have been working tirelessly on, will be launching our official wallet soon. https://t.co/h1wO7dy6AX

Donald Trump Jr. and Barron Trump also publicly distanced the family from the initiative. Trump Jr. declared on social media platform X, “The organization has absolutely nothing to do with this wallet.” He noted their separate project, World Liberty Financial, will launch its own digital wallet soon. Barron Trump echoed this rejection, emphasizing no involvement.
To be clear, our family has zero involvement with this wallet. https://t.co/5NE6cZZQlO

Magic Eden CEO Jack Lu confirmed his company’s role in developing the wallet on X. The wallet’s website links to GetTrumpMemes.com, creators of prior Trump-themed tokens like $TRUMP and $MELANIA. These tokens lacked official endorsement from the Trump family. No technical documentation or launch timeline exists for the wallet, though a public waitlist is open.
This incident highlights a recurring pattern: third parties using the Trump name for crypto projects without consent. Donald Trump’s past engagement with crypto—including meetings with $TRUMP token holders and his stablecoin venture—has fueled such attempts. The fog around $TRUMP Wallet’s legitimacy persists as developers remain unidentified.
